We provide our training throughout the Netherlands, at our own training locations in Eindhoven and Utrecht or at your customer's location (in-company).

Renewing Microsoft partnership

Microsoft has revamped its partner program. (IT) Organizations must meet new requirements in several areas including certification. The points you can earn are divided into three areas:

  • Performance
  • Skilling
  • Customer Success

Performance is about the number of customers you add. Achieving certifications falls under Skilling and Customer Success is about the growth in usage and number of implementations of your solutions. To remain or become a Microsoft Partner, you must achieve at least 70 out of 100 points in one of these Solution Areas.

In this article, we zoom in on the Skilling component, for which you can receive between 25 and 40 points. Employees must therefore obtain certifications to score points.

You have the following components for which you can achieve partner status, namely:

  • Data & IA
  • Digital & App Innovation
  • Infrastructure
  • Modern Work
  • Security

For each section, you have a choice of certifications and Intermediate and Advanced levels. Depending on the number of points you have obtained in the Performance and Customer Success areas, you need to pass a minimum number of exams. Since this is different for each party, you can check the details of this through the Microsoft Partner Center.
